This specialized YKK BELNAP features a hybrid construction. It behaves differently and requires different tooling than the standard YKK SNAPET®.
- Top (Parts A & B): Pearl Cap Cover (A-Part) for a premium, solid-surface finish on the garment exterior. Note: These top components retain standard fabric holding capacity and require relatively thin layers.

Bottom (Parts C & D): Hollow Center Post engineered specifically to increase fabric holding capacity on the bottom placket only, easily compressing and anchoring through thick, folded, or heavily interfaced fabric layers.

- Accommodates Extra Fabric Thickness: Standard SNAPET® Pearl uses short prongs on the bottom that fail to penetrate folded or thick plackets. The Hollow Post on this BELNAP offers the extended length needed to compress and securely rivet through multi-layered bottom fabrics.
- Maintains Standard Snapping Action: Gives you the exact same premium Western/Shirt Pearl aesthetic on the front, combined with a high-capacity rivet base underneath.
- Common Uses: Western shirts, heavy denim shirts, and outerwear with thick inner plackets.

⚠️ ATTACHING WARNING
• Two Different Tool Systems Required: You will need two different types of die systems to install these snaps.
• Top (A/B Parts): Requires a standard Pearl Snap Die Set to protect the pearl cap from cracking during installation.
• Bottom (C/D Parts): Requires a Post/Rivet Die to crimp the hollow center post.
• Tooling Incompatibility: A standard full-prong / SNAPET® Pearl tool set will NOT work on the C and D parts of this hybrid kit. Please verify your machine or hand press setup before attaching.
